Project Description
Donor Interface: Securing partner donor funding to purchase and deploy effective solutions to immediate threats by co-ordinating urgent operational requirements from Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ministry of Infrastructure or other Ukrainian stakeholders with either urgent bidding rounds of the International Fund of Ukraine or submission to bilateral donors including the Danish Fund for Ukraine and the Norwegian Fund for Ukraine.
Threat Analysis and Forecasting: This involves the documentation and ongoing analysis of current threats, coupled with a forecasting mechanism to predict short-term future threats. This work to directly support the work of the Electronic and Cyber Warfare Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Supplier Categorization Update: Updating our database to distinguish between manufacturers who are primarily developers and those who are vendors of off-the-shelf solutions, particularly focusing on Chinese market dynamics.
Legal Framework and Partnerships: Signing NDAs and memoranda of understanding with carefully selected manufacturers to secure confidentiality and cooperation and develop a network or consortium of Ukrainian EW manufacturers that can interface together with donors.
Testing Facility Organization: Establishing state-of-the-art testing facilities to assess and verify the specifications provided by manufacturers and to align this testing with MOD and AFU testing and certification.
Cross-Manufacturer Integration: Setting up a structured dialogue among manufacturers to explore potential enhancements by integrating disparate solutions and to develop solutions to supply issues for spare parts and critical components.
Investment in Innovation: Directing funds towards the development of new technologies and securing ownership or patents to safeguard our investments.
Scope: This project spans the identification of technological threats, collaboration with manufacturers, enhancement of testing procedures, and investment in future technologies. The scope is defined by our capability to influence and drive innovations in the EW-REB sector.
